I don't like having my temp taken. I am not a really smart person (yet) but there has to be a better way to take my temp!
ps. I get my shots Friday morning. YUCK

mmmm....Famous Dave's!
We had a fun weekend this weekend. Our friends from up north, the Borneman's came to visit. We had lots of fun together and they brought me this really cool baseball that lights up. I loved waving it around. I'm still working on my throwing arm.
I'm working really hard at crawling, but it's way easier just to scoot around on my head!
That night my mom was trying to get me to fall asleep...whatever she tried worked for her, but not for me. She crashed out, but I was wide awake!
On sunday I made my daddy proud. We went out to eat to Famous Dave's and I munched on some of my mom's food. I loved the brisket & garlic mashed potatoes! My dad was very proud of me that I ate so much brisket...he said it was a lot better for me than tofu.

Snifflin' and Sneezin'
Winter can definitely be done; we've been battling colds at our house and they just won't go away. We're tired of feeling icky and tired of staying home and missing out on fun stuff. Having a cold stinks. We were supposed to have gone to my first Timberwolves game on Thursday, but I wasn't feeling well so I stayed home with mom and dad went to the game with a friend instead. It was a bum deal. And then my dad told me he was going to take me out for a spin in my fancy red sled outside in the snow because it was going to be nice out; but i couldn't go out 'cause I'm coughing too much. But today, mom and I were feeling a little better so we all went out to breakfast and I got to try pancakes for the first time. they were tasty! Hopefully soon we'll have some more pictures for you to see.
p.s. Cousin Lane: I heard you aren't feeling well either. Hope you're feeling good soon.

Winter can be done now

I am getting sick of winter. Mom and Dad keep telling me that its too cold for me to go and play outside. My Grandma and Grandpa Folkestad game me this really neat tractor to ride, but it just isn't the same riding it around the living room.
Plus I get excited about what Mom and Dad are telling me about. Mom has been telling me about how fun chickens are, so I can't wait to go to the farm (Grandma and Grandpa Dombeck's) and see them. Mom says that they are fun to watch, and dad says their good to eat. I am not sure what all this means yet, but I am excited! I've heard my mom call my dad a chicken a lot, so it will be fun to see what a chicken is. All I know is that I don't want to eat my dad... Bug he is fun to play with! Guess we'll just have to wait for the trip to the farm this summer and see what one looks like.
Oh... one other bit of good news... We now have Dish Network. Mom and Dad don't let me watch TV much, but they are sure excited about it! (I take a peek sometimes when they are not looking)

My mom makes me eat weird food
Uncle John, today I made you proud. I ate tofu for lunch and I liked it. My mom makes me eat lots of other odd food; my dad often apologizes to me, but I don't seem to mind. Just thought you'd be proud to know you have one other person in the entire family who eats tofu besides you!

Happy Birthday to you!
This is old news, but last week when I was hanging out w/ my dad I just couldn't go anymore. I fell asleep eating my rice cake. It's tough work being me.
I really wanted to write and tell my two uncles; Uncle John and Uncle Brad Happy Birthday! And to everyone else too, Happy Valentines Day. I hope you have a fantastic day. Thanks for always writing to me Uncle John and Uncle Brad.

Batter up!
sorry I've taken a break from blogging lately. I was still not feeling great all of last week and then this week my parents had a bright idea to paint the kitchen, hallway and bedroom. I felt rather ignored. But now I'm feeling better, I'm eating like crazy to make up for lost time and now that the house is back together I can play again. Last weekend my parents took me shopping for new car seats and while they were shopping they found two new cool hats for me for this summer and they bought me new baseball shoes too! I'm snazzy now.
I love my new baseball game. Sometimes I hit the ball with the bat, but mostly I just like to chew on the bat and the ball. and when that doesnt' work, I think it's fun to tip it over. I can't wait until I can try out my t-ball set this summer in our new big yard!
