Beach party

Tonight for youth group we had a beach party and I got to take my first jet ski ride with my dad adn play in the water and bounce on the trampoline. Mom thought dad was going to take me for just a quick circle around the raft, but we went all the way across the bay and back. I sat there very still; Dad couldn't really tell if I liked it or not, but I didn't cry so we just kept going a little further. I thought it was lots of fun in the end. I had tons of fun playing in the water too.

Hangin' out at Big Sandy Camp

Sorry it's been so long since I've blogged. We were at Big Sandy Camp all last week. Dad was the speaker, so mom and I got to just come and hang out. It was a fun week. I hung out with kids at the climbing wall, painted at the craft shop, had plenty of beach time and lots of other good stuff.

I love riding on dad's shoulders!

After we got home from big sandy, we got to go to the Polk Co. Fair (just down the road from our house)! It was lots of fun, we saw lots of people we knew, saw lots of animals and even a little bit of the tractor pull.

Other news...I love walking! and I love going down steps backwards, I love my sandbox, my pool and playing with the water hose. Oh yeah, my favorite word to say is, "WOW"!

Hope everyone is having a good summer. I'm having a blast!

BSC '08

Going for a stroll during the beach party.

I loved playing in the sand at the beach all week. I had fun digging with sticks and with my sand toys a little too. I even got to go for a dip in the lake and I liked it this time too. I liked it so much I sat in my lake floaty in our cabin and pretended I was in the lake.

The Biker Ad

They made up the ad for the Biker Sunday. I told them that I had to share it here on the blog before I would let them share it anywhere else.

What do you think? Uncle Ken, I'd like a motorcycle for Christmas please!

Biker Baby

At church we are having a biker sunday in a couple of weeks, so I got to help by taking promo shot. It was kind of fun, I liked the bike and the snacks. I didn't like the bandana and the sunglasses.

The snacks were the tastiest part!

Go twins Go!

Master of messes

This morning's yogurt was one of the best breakfasts yet! Suddenly I find myself having a bath or a really good wipe down after my morning meals with a spoon. Go figure.

squishy, juicy watermelon

Two weeks ago, my mom and I made our way out to Wahpeton, ND for a wedding. We had lots of fun, but we dont' have any pictures. Sorry. But we had lots of other fun along the way; I loved feeding Taylor the dog food from my high chair. She's good at eating snacks too! Here I am having a snack at grandma's house with my new party hat!

At GG's house my cousin Addison and I sat on the lawn and ate watermelon. It was tasty and extra messy, which was extra cool! Plus I got to eat in just my underwear. what more could boy want?

silverware....no thanks

The other weekend when my mom was trying to pack for us to head out for a few days, my mom let me watch clifford so she could get a few things done. I closed up the suitcase and made my own little bench out of it. Genius!

So my mom is on a kick to try to get me to use a spoon. I say no thanks. It's much easier and faster to play with it for awhile, then lick it off your fingers. Besides this way I can smear it all over me, my chair and anything else I can touch. You can even stick your face in the bowl and pretend to eat like a puppy. It's way more fun than a boring, 'ole spoon. If only applesauce showed up like mud, you'd see my wonderful work of art! (and no, that's not a booger on my face, it's leftover banana)
